A Decade of Birthdays is a series of colored pencil drawings that references and reimagines photographs that were taken on my birthday every year, from age 10 to 20, except for year 12. I have always celebrated my birthday with my twin sister. These drawings commemorate this ritual, the journey of growing up, the joy of shared moments, and the way we capture and remember these moments through photographs.
